Born in Naples, Italy, Nevia earned a BA in Foreign Literatures with a focus on Romance languages at the Università di Perugia and an MA in Teaching Italian as a Second Language at the Università per Stranieri di Siena, where she is currently completing her thesis on the adoption of the EUFFICS instructional approach in migratory contexts. She has experience teaching Italian to international students and asylum seekers, and she volunteered as an Italian teacher for immigrants at the Nuova Associazione Culturale Ulisse. Her professional and research interests center on language education, inclusion, and intercultural integration. Passionate about languages, traveling, and cultural exchange, she brings enthusiasm and dedication to her work with Siena Italian Studies school.
