Francophone Program Coordinator

Born in Siena, Irene studied languages at “Liceo Linguistico Monna Agnese” before moving to Brussels, where she earned a BA in Human and Social Sciences and an MA in Human Resources Management at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium). In 2024, she also completed an Interuniversity Certificate in Migrations, Ethnic Diversity, and Intercultural Relations offered jointly by the (ULB) and Université de Liège (ULiège).
She began collaborating with SIS in 2016, first by guiding students in Brussels and later by contributing to the development of the Multi-Destination Program between Siena and Brussels. Since 2022, she has coordinated the development of SIS Francophone programs in Cameroon and Morocco, while serving as Resident Director in Brussels, where she supports students through housing, service learning, and cultural immersion activities.
Beyond SIS, Irene contributes to city initiatives such as Brussels 2030 and collaborates with Alter Brussels on cultural tours and partnerships. Passionate about interculturality, she enjoys exploring cities through the eyes of students and fostering dialogue across cultures.
